Dormant Account Activation

HOW TO RE-ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT, IF MARKED DORMANT?

  • Activation of Dormant Accounts (Individuals)
    • Visit the branch personally for activating your Dormant Account.
    • Fill the Dormant Activation Request form and submit the same to the branch.
    • Provide biometrics and original CNIC for verification.
    • Collect your Account Statement (from the date of dormancy till the date of activation) from the branch.
  • Activation of Dormant Accounts (Sole Proprietor)
    • Visit the branch personally for activating your Dormant Account.
    • Fill the Dormant Activation Request form and submit the same on your Company’s letterhead to the branch.
    • Provide biometrics and original CNIC for verification.
    • Collect your Account Statement (from the date of dormancy till the date of activation) from the branch.
  • Activation of Dormant Accounts (Entities)
    • Fill the Dormant Activation Request form and submit the same on your Company’s letterhead duly signed by authorized signatories to the branch. In case of partnerships, submit the Dormant Activation Request on letterhead duly signed by all the partners.
    • Provide biometric verification of the authorized signatories. For any change in signatories, please provide a fresh Board Resolution of the Board of Directors. In case of partnerships, please provide an account activation request, which is signed by all the partners.
    • Collect your Account Statement (from the date of dormancy till the date of activation) from the branch.
  • Activation of Dormant Accounts (RDA Customers)
    • Activation via Email
      • Contact your Relationship Manager through your registered email address for Dormant Activation Request form.
      • Email the Dormant Activation Request form duly signed along with a copy of ID document to your respective Relationship Manager.
      • Once your account is activated, your Account Statement (from the date of dormancy till the date of activation) will be emailed to you on your registered email address.
    • Activation via Branch
      • If you are in Pakistan, visit any Meezan Bank branch for activating your Dormant Account.
      • Fill the Dormant Activation Request form and submit the same to the branch.
      • Provide biometrics and original ID Document for verification.
      • Once your account is activated, your Account Statement (from the date of dormancy till the date of activation) will be emailed to you on your registered email address.
