Meezan Bank recently provided high-quality Hajj bags to Hajjis to carry the Holy Quran and other gifts at the Hajj Terminals on their arrival from Saudi Arabia after performing the holy journey of Hajj.
This distribution was done in collaboration with the prominent social welfare organization, Alamgir Welfare Trust and aimed at making the hajjis arrival in Pakistan as hassle free and as comfortable as possible. Around 160,000 (As per Dawn Newspaper) Pakistanis performed the Holy Journey during the year.
Meezan Bank also launched Labbaik, the Hajj and Umra facilitation service during the year and over 150 people availed this service to perform Hajj 2009.
